A magical farm birthday — just for your child!
Celebrate your child’s special day surrounded by friendly farm animals, open pastures, fresh air, and plenty of room to play.
At Sun Star Farm, the whole farm is yours during your party time — we never schedule another birthday party alongside yours. That means your family and friends can relax, explore, and enjoy a wonderfully unhurried celebration together.
And because we’re a farm preschool during the school year, our farm is especially well suited for young children and little explorers.
Your 2-hour private farm party includes:

Up to 15 children
Additional children over 12 months are $10 each. Adults and infants under 12 months are always free. -
Guided Farm Animal Time with Ms. Heidi
Meet and interact with our farm animals while Ms. Heidi guides the children through a fun, gentle and safe farm experience. We adjust the pace to the age and personality of each group — no rushed animal encounters here! -
A Huge Covered Party Shelter
Your party home base is our 1,200-square-foot covered shelter overlooking the beautiful pasture, so there’s plenty of room to celebrate rain or shine. -
Time to Play & Explore
Children can enjoy the sandbox, visit the animals along the fence, play and simply enjoy being on the farm. -
Hay for Feeding the Animals
We’ll provide hay for animal feeding. You’re also welcome to bring approved treats such as carrots, bread or crackers — see our FAQ for details. -
Easy Setup & Cleanup
You’ll have 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after your party for setup and cleanup, and we’ll take care of disposing of your trash.
Make the Celebration Your Own
Bring your birthday cake, favorite foods, drinks and decorations and create a celebration that feels like your family.
We simply ask that you skip the confetti and leave alcoholic beverages at home.
Then we’ll provide the farm, animals and beautiful country setting.
Are Farm Parties Good for 2- & 3-Year-Olds?
They are wonderful for this age!
Sun Star Farm is home to our preschool during the school year, so our spaces were created with little people in mind.
We also know that a two-year-old isn’t necessarily interested in spending an entire hour visiting animals! Ms. Heidi is wonderful at reading the room and following the children’s natural rhythm.
Animal visits can be broken into shorter adventures throughout the party, with plenty of time in between for sandbox play, snacks, exploring and simply watching the animals in the nearby pasture.
The result is a birthday that feels relaxed rather than over-scheduled — which tends to make the grown-ups pretty happy, too. 💛
What If It Rains?
A little rain doesn’t spoil a farm party! Our enormous covered shelter allows the celebration to continue in most weather.
If the forecast calls for weather that would make your farm experience unsafe or truly unpleasant, we’ll contact you to discuss rescheduling options.

Dates tend to fill quickly, so we recommend reserving your celebration early.
